I’m having so much fun decorating our nursery for our first baby girl due in March 2020. I made an inspiration board, which I shared about a month ago on Instagram, but wanted to share my progress so far and link sources, now that I have the “shell” of the room complete.

I built my whole design around this adorable wallpaper I found on Etsy. It came all the way from Poland, is very well made, and intended to be the focal point of the room/backdrop for our crib.
My dad and I installed the wainscoting and painted. The paint colors I chose were Benjamin Moore Silver Satin for the wainscoting and Antique White for the walls. It took forever for me to find “right white” to match the wallpaper background, but it ended up being a pretty solid match and I’m loving the neutral tones together.

My original design board showed a beautiful Restoration Hardware antique gold crib which I’ve been eyeing forever, but couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on a crib. I found one that looks very similar in my opinion for half the price. We assembled it yesterday and seems super sturdy and well made. It is also convertible to a toddler bed when baby girl gets a little older.
I did hours of research on safe and breathable mattresses for babies. I can’t provide an honest review yet on the mattress we bought since it hasn’t been used yet, but it looks nice and comfy and was highly recommended by several personal and online sources. We shall see if it lives up the hype – I’ll report back ☺
This dresser is ancient and I’ve had it since high school, but it’s held up very well through the years and multiple moves. I found these adorable bunny knobs to give it a new look. I plan to add a changing pad on top, and wall décor on the wall above it.
Rug shopping is stressful to me. Every time I start a rug search for a room it takes me months to make a decision because I don’t want to have to go through the trouble to repack and return it if I don’t like it. Lazy, I know, but it’s annoying to me ㋡ I ended up purchasing this cozy neutral rug during cyber week (60% off-wahoo!) and I’m so happy with how it brings the room together.
I’ll do another post once the nursery is complete, linking further details but wanted to the share progress since I’ve received a lot questions on sources, paint colors, etc.
