Two under two. I’m still not quite sure how that happened 🤯 It still feels like it’s 2019 and I just found out I was pregnant with Kennedy, but the reality is we’re about to celebrate her second birthday in two weeks and have since added another babe, Noah to our crew. After having two babies in less than two years, I’ve learned a lot about baby “stuff”, and would like to think I’m getting somewhat decent at this whole “momming” thing 😉This post is a long time coming, and I’m excited to finally share my ultimate baby registry!
Prior to creating Kennedy’s registry, I did a ton of research and pretty much became a full time investigator for all things baby (ha!) I read numerous mommy blogs, followed all the baby gurus on social media, consulted every seasoned mama I knew, and made it my job to know about all the best baby products and gadgets. I filled my registry with what (at the time) I thought were the essentials. My first registry was pretty comprehensive, but there were inevitably a lot of items that I forgot or didn’t think about until after my babies were born.
This is a comprehensive guide to all my most used and loved products that I would recommend to all new parents. I have many friends expecting this year, who have asked for advice so rather than texting my list ad hoc based on my mental notes – I’ve created this round up for you!
In addition all my favorite items we received for Kennedy and Noah, I reviewed all my Amazon purchases for the past 2 years for all those late night extras that I ordered after they were born. I think we got at least one Amazon package per day in those first few weeks. 🤦♀️ Who can relate?!
I’ve also included 3 bonus sections:
- Gifts for mamas (because she’s the real MVP and deserves some love too)
- Registry items for multiples (or having 2 babes close in age like we did)
- List of all my favorite places to shop for baby clothes *
*You’ll notice I intentionally didn’t include a lot of clothes on the registry (except for pjs & some basics), as you’ll likely get a ton of gifts that are clothing items. Plus, I’ve learned that babies grow out of sizes very quickly so it’s a good idea to wait and see how big your baby will be before ordering a whole wardrobe.
Enjoy and if you’re expecting and reading this – congrats!
BABY GEAR
SLEEPWEAR
SLEEP DEVICES / PRODUCTS
**The SNOO bassinet has a rental option, which I suggest rather than purchasing for first time parents because 1) It’s expensive! and 2) Every baby is different (some don’t like it and don’t adjust as well to it.) Kennedy loved the SNOO and slept in it until 5 months, and Noah did not like it so we ended up returning it and moved him to his crib at 3 months.
TRANSPORTATION
**Note: I suggest registering for two car seat bases and two rear view mirrors if you have two family vehicles, so you don’t have to re-install the base when you switch cars.
FEEDING (BREASTFEEDING ,PUMPING* & FORMULA*)
*Pumping: I had Spectra S1 for Kennedy, and recently got the Elvie Stride for Noah. The Spectra was completely covered by insurance, and the Elvie was only partially covered. However, the Elvie being hands-free is a game changer for me (especially now that I’m back to work) so worth the investment 🙂
*Formula: Kennedy had a sensitive tummy so we used Similac Sensitive, and Noah is just plain picky (ha!) so we have been supplementing with Bobbie (modeled after breastmilk.)
FEEDING (SOLIDS)
In addition to all the feeding accessories below, we purchased the IKEA Antilop high chair and we love it.
BATH
*After Kennedy was able to sit up on her own, we switched to this bath seat .
BEACH GEAR
We purchased this Pop Up Beach Tent , Mattress, and cover and it’s been awesome for vacations.

BONUS: STUFF FOR MOM
Monthly Photo book subscription: Hands down my favorite gift from me to me (lol!) I’ve shared these before, and can’t recommend them enough. We are subscribed to this monthly subscription book, so I can document and organize all our pictures of Kennedy and Noah and monthly milestones. They start at $5/mo depending on which type of book you get and worth every single penny. There’s an app that connects with my phone camera roll, so I can easily select 30 pictures throughout each month that I want included in my book, adding captions and dates to remember special moments. Our family loved these so much that both our parents have a subscription, and we’ve gifted them to all our grandparents too. That’s 5 total subscriptions so everyone will never miss a moment of Kennedy & Noah growing up! You can get your first book FREE(up to $10 off) using code ALEXAMAHAFFEY-LTTG.
BONUS: PRODUCTS FOR MULTIPLES
Having twins or two babies close in age? These were a few items that I purchased prior to Noah being born. Note: Most of these are accessories for the Uppababy Vista to convert our stroller to a double.
